Principle
This website is deliberately built to be data-minimal: no analytics, no embedded third-party content, and no tracking cookies are set without your consent. Fonts and videos are served locally from the site's own webspace; no connections to Google Fonts, YouTube or similar services are established. The only exception is Google Ads conversion tracking (see below) — and it loads exclusively if you actively accept it in the consent banner.
Google Ads conversion tracking (only with consent)
To measure the performance of my advertising I use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — but only if you choose "Accept" in the consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Only then is the Google tag loaded and cookies (e.g. "_gcl_aw") may be set that allow Google to recognise that you reached this website via an ad and subsequently, for example, sent an inquiry or clicked an email link. I do not receive any information that would allow me to identify you personally. Without your consent, no Google script is loaded and no tracking cookies are set (Google Consent Mode v2, default: denied).
Your choice is stored locally in your browser only (localStorage, entry "pj-consent-v1") and is never transmitted to me. You can change or withdraw it at any time via cookie settings. If you consent, data may be transferred to Google servers (including in the USA); Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information see Google's privacy policy.
Server log files (hosting)
When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period.
Contact by email
If you email me, I process your details (email address, name, content of the message) to answer your inquiry and for any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Contact form
Details submitted via the contact form (name, email address, optionally company, and your message) are processed to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form submissions are handled technically via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA), which may involve a transfer to the USA. Your details are not shared beyond what is necessary and are deleted once your inquiry has been resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.

This website links to external services (e.g. LinkedIn, filmspektakel.com, timelapserobot.com, bauzeitraffer.at). When you click such a link you leave this website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. Data is only exchanged once you click.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.
