This website is deliberately built to be data-minimal: no analytics, no embedded third-party content, and no tracking cookies are set without your consent. Fonts and videos are served locally from the site’s own webspace; no connections to Google Fonts, YouTube or similar services are established. The only exception is Google Ads conversion tracking (see below) — and it loads exclusively if you actively accept it in the consent banner.

To measure the performance of my advertising I use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — but only if you choose "Accept" in the consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Only then is the Google tag loaded and cookies (e.g. "_gcl_aw") may be set that allow Google to recognise that you reached this website via an ad and subsequently, for example, sent an inquiry or clicked an email link. I do not receive any information that would allow me to identify you personally. Without your consent, no Google script is loaded and no tracking cookies are set (Google Consent Mode v2, default: denied).

Your choice is stored locally in your browser only (localStorage, entry "pj-consent-v1") and is never transmitted to me. You can change or withdraw it at any time via cookie settings. If you consent, data may be transferred to Google servers (including in the USA); Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information see Google’s privacy policy.

In addition, this website stores three purely technical entries in your browser’s sessionStorage: "pj-ads-landing" remembers for the current session that you arrived via an ad, so that the consent banner can be shown; "pj-intro" makes sure the homepage intro plays only once per session; "pj-from" remembers the last page of this website you visited, for the return animation. These entries contain no personal data, are never transmitted to me and are deleted automatically when the session ends, at the latest when you close the browser tab. A further entry, "pj-kanal", belongs to the contact form and is described there.

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files in order to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period.

If you email me, I process your details (email address, name, company, content of the message including your project details) to answer your inquiry, to prepare a proposal where applicable and for any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Inquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted from my mailbox after 12 months; inquiries that do are deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired.

Details submitted via the contact form (name, business email address, company, project type and your message, plus, if provided, budget range, target completion date and how you found me) are processed to handle your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a proposal. The page of this website from which the inquiry was sent is also recorded for technical reasons. The inquiry also includes how you arrived at this website at the start of your visit: only the domain name of the previous website (e.g. google.com or chatgpt.com), the value of the campaign parameter "utm_source", "google-ads" or "microsoft-ads" after an ad click, or "direkt" (direct) or "intern" (internal) if no other website can be identified. Your browser keeps this value in sessionStorage ("pj-kanal") until the end of the session; no cookies are set for this, and I only receive it if you send an inquiry.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying and in knowing which channels inquiries come from (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form submissions are handled technically via Netlify Forms (Netlify, Inc., USA), which may involve a transfer to the USA. Your details are not shared beyond what is necessary. Inquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted after 12 months, in Netlify Forms as well as in my mailbox; inquiries that do are deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired.

This website links to external services (e.g. LinkedIn, filmspektakel.com, timelapserobot.com, bauzeitraffer.at). When you click such a link you leave this website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. Data is only exchanged once you click.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.
