The brief: make people want to learn before the first word is spoken
SGO Business School presents its programmes at information evenings. Before the talk starts, a trailer plays. It works without a voice-over and has to get three of the school’s promises across:
Individual support and guidance
„Individuelle Begleitung und Beratung“
Focused rather than fixated
„Fokussiert anstatt fixiert“
A nationally and internationally recognised certificate
„National und international anerkanntes Zertifikat“
Everything that matters is in the picture.
The idea
A packed weekly calendar, and suddenly everything fits.
Appointments fall into a weekly calendar like Tetris blocks and lock into place. Three blue blocks, the SGO, slot in so that in the end everything works out.
A woman sits at her monitor late in the evening, stressed. The camera flies into her screen, right into the calendar, and the first block locks into place.
At her laptop, coffee in hand, she is more relaxed. The second block finds its place: „Fokussiert anstatt fixiert“.
The certificate handover itself becomes the third block. Then real graduation photos from the school drop in as a collage, ending on the claim „Aufbruchstimmung. Jeden Tag.“ (a fresh start, every day).
Production: a 3D calendar, AI scenes and real photos in one film
The calendar and the blocks are 3D animation made in Blender. That keeps grid, type and colours exact in every frame, which AI image models can’t reliably do with a precise calendar grid.
The scenes at the monitor and at the laptop are AI-generated from a character reference, so the protagonist looks the same in both. The first and last frame of each clip are matched to the 3D scene, so the camera flies from the screen into the calendar without a visible cut.
The film opens on the title slide of the information evening and moves on from there into the trailer. The certificate handover is real footage, and the collage at the end shows real graduation photos.
